This was about a month ago, so after troubleshooting and no resolution I gave the User the free 30 day trial period for Professional to buy myself some more research time. This message will never appear nor will I ever get the Email. Once this has been done, Draftsight is supposed to give you a message saying an email has been sent to finish activation. Basically, it will ask for activation then I will enter in the information required. I have never seen this before, simular but not this. Upon further review he was correct and I have activated many draftsight's seeing as we have over 200 users. User reported that everytime draftsight is opened it will ask him for activation. Let me provide the original issue before I tell you the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. I have researched and researched over and over. All of these articles will be stored in the category of Daily Dose….Okay so I am having a bit of a problem with draftsight and I am getting nowhere with the draftsight "professionals". We hope this series has given you an insight on how to successfully install eDrawings 2018. The eDrawings Viewer does not require a license key, so you will just leave that field blank. If you get the User Account Control message, just select YES to continue.
Here you will check “I confirm,” select “Accept Agreement & Continue,” and then “Run.” SOLIDWORKS will ask you to meet the export eligibility requirements and accept the license terms. There is no serial required, but you’ll have to fill out the dialog entirely and select “Activate.” PLEASE NOTE: You will receive an email in your inbox where you will need to click on a hyperlink to complete the activation. Selecting “No Thanks” will take you to the activation screen. There will be one more dialog which will give you the option of exploring the Professional version. At that point you click “Finish” and the installation is complete. The installation begins and runs for about 2 minutes or so and ends with this dialog.
Select the option “I Accept” and then “Install” to continue. The next dialog will again prompt you for the end user agreement. We will select the “Free” option here and then select “Next.” The next dialog asks what version you are trying to install and activate.
Also, if you get the User Account Control message, just select YES to continue. You can run it directly from its location, or save it to your local drive first and then install it. You can read the entire thing or just scroll to the bottom and select OK. In this example, we will launch the Windows 64-bit version and install that one.įirst thing that shows is the disclaimer.
